Workshop and Demonstrations with Master Feng

    On Friday 2/25/12 about 15-20 of us from the Golden Bamboo Tai Chi Club went to the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center to participat in Master Feng's workshop & demonstrations. The event was put on by the Tucson Sino Martial Arts Group of which I am a member. About 100 people attended..
    Feng, Junjie is a Chinese Shaolin wu shu(martial arts) and tai chi teacher. He currently lives in Phoenix and teaches martial arts at the University of Arizona in Tempe. The workshop consisted mostly of Master Feng demonstrating many forms including; two Chang Chuan empty hand sets, the Yang Tai Chi 24 Form, Chen Tai Chi 26 Form, broadsword and straight sword sets as well as an impressive demonstration where he throws a needle through a piece of glass. 
    Sifu Shuping, the leader of the TSMA Group  guided everyone  through the eight pieces of brocade Qi Gong routine. Sifu Shuping performed the Chen 49 Sword Set and Sifu Mike performed the Yang Broadsword Set. Thank you to my students for participating in the event. .
